A B O U T My name is Maria. Born in 1995 and raised in Rhodes, an island of southern Greece. I am a performance artist, an architect and a tea addict based in Athens. I hold an intergated master`s degree in architecture engineering but while studying I wasn't feeling comfortable in my own skin. Something was not right. Grateful but incomplete from this experience,  I continued my personal development artistically. So,  like a 5 year's old excited kid, I followed a non-formal education throught workshops and intensive retreats to become a physical performer and a maker. I have been trained in dancing, physical theatre, voice, singing, and performance art. On January 2025 a new fascinating journey begins in the Contemporary Physical Performance Making master`s program at the Estonian Academy of music and theatre where I will dive into the deep water of performance with an international group of artists. Let`s head to the Baltic sea.
